Just as we noticed a couple of weeks ago, the latest release of Sketch 3.7 was just around the corner. After a slightly rocky launch a few days back, the fine guys over at Bohemian worked hard to bring us a stable release shortly after… and ooh la la! We tried it, and we love it. While the new, completely rebuilt symbol system takes a few minutes to get used to, it definitely is an improvement workflow-wise and pushes users to be a lot more tidy and efficient in the way they set up their documents. Just try it!

THE NEW FACE OF FRAMER
Will this finally settle the beloved “should designers code” question? We don’t know, and we don’t care! This new iteration of Framer allows you to create, edit and manipulate objects (which of course you coded beforehand) with the simplicity of a visual tool through a function called Auto-Code. And by the way, the Framer team hosted an AMA (Ask Me Anything) over at Designer News, so you can learn more about Auto-Code there.
FACEBOOK REVEALS ORIGAMI STUDIO
Another prototyping tool upgrade! Origami was originally a Quartz Composer component developed internally at Facebook based on visual programing. Some time later this year we should also have free access to the standalone version, Origami Studio!
