The lovely guys at Bohemian are up to it again with yet another Sketch update you can read about here. In short, 3.8 shows a new version of Mirror, one that's been completely re-engineered: The interface was redesigned, changes made in Sketch are now reflected essentially in real time on Mirror, and most importantly, it finally works over USB. Now, before this update, depending on your network settings, sometimes it was necessary to manually input your IP for Mirror to work properly, a somewhat annoying thing to deal with in the workspace. Not anymore, thanks to USB connectivity.
And on top of that we have the usual bug fixing, mostly regarding the Undo function and performance enhancements. So don’t forget to update both Sketch and Mirror and go and build something nice.

SQUALL INTRODUCES AFTER EFFECTS TO YOUR IPHONE
Squall just got out of beta and is now version 1.0! This After Effects extension allows you to preview animations on your iPhone. In its current iteration, it can generate code from simple, vector-based animations ready for implementation. Try the app, and let us know how it goes! Additionally, there’s an active Facebook group for Squall discussions.
AIRMAIL 3 IS OUT
A long-time favorite among some of our teammates for its beautiful clean and sleek look, this new version introduces a ton of new features, including Trello and Asana interaction, an unsubscribe function and loads of customization for gestures and folders. This sounds great, and it’s almost tempting for those few of us still waiting for the desktop version of Spark. We’ll keep waiting. And waiting. And waiting...
GOOGLE INTRODUCES NEW MESSAGING APPS
Last week was full of news from the Google camp. On the instant messaging front, Google unveiled Allo, a text-message app including exciting features like smart replies integrations with Search, Maps and other Google services; as well as Duo, a video call app in the vein of FaceTime. Spaces is yet another venture into social interaction by Google. VentureBeat called it Google+ Communities minus the Google+ so that might you give a general idea of what this is about. Users can create a small group with a theme (Comics, Sports, TV, Google+, or whatever you can think of) to which they can invite friends and share articles and other media and chat with each other. Yeah. Spaces is out, so give it a try and see for yourself!
