Oculus Rift, the highly anticipated virtual reality headset purchased by Facebook last year for $2 billion, may still be several months away from hitting the consumer market, but we got our hands on an exclusive Development Kit 2 and can confirm that the headset is, quite literally, out of this world.

Our Prague team has spent the last two months enjoying the thrills of Oculus' various virtual worlds – including roller coasters, race tracks and creepy haunted houses – while brainstorming future potential games and apps for this exciting new device.

“We'd like to explore options of developing apps as the demand from the brand side is very high,” says STRV CEO David Semerad. “Oculus is going to change the way we consume digital content once and for all, and STRV definitely wants to be a part of the action!”

We are in the process of putting together a demo to add to Oculus' growing online portfolio. The details are still under wraps, but our programmers are promising to deliver a stunning virtual experience.

“Oculus Rift is definitely the future of game-making,” says Juraj Kuliska, one of our lead Android developers who is heading the Oculus' demo project. “You feel much more involved in what's happening in the game and the whole experience is highly intense. I am really excited about the prospect of contributing to this ground-breaking trend.”
