We can't wait to see what kind of innovative ideas our hackers will come up with this Saturday at our Prague office. Each member of the winning team will be awarded with their very own Apple Watch.

Competition will be stiff.

“I am totally excited! We have a ton of really experienced developers and designers signed up. I expect to see a lot of incredible app ideas. Judging is going to be very tough,” says Martin Stava, STRV’s CTO.

Teams will be judged on their overall package: They will need to have a cool app idea as well as an eye-catching design. They will also be judged on their presentation. The day will start at 9am with a brief tutorial on the Apple WatchKit. Judging will start at 6:30pm, and winners will be announced at 8:30pm.

STRV iOS engineers will be on hand all day to answer questions and offer advice. There will also be plenty of food and drinks to keep everyone's energy level up. And of course there will be an after party with pizza and beer.

The Apple Watch Hackathon is part of the new STRV Labs research platform. STRV will also be hosting an Apple Watch hackathon at its San Francisco offices at a later date.
